A Glimpse into My Journey

One step at a time.

…until I should sleep

img_1598

We don’t miss the sun until it rains (cats and dogs… but when will it rain cookies?). 🍪

We don’t think about our (crazy) friends until we feel lonely. 👭

We don’t appreciate our (sometimes annoying) family until they’re no longer there. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

We don’t dream about a person until he becomes absent from our lives. (Rude. 😒 )

We don’t miss school until we yearn for knowledge (and don’t want to work, let’s be real). 📖

We don’t think about our childhood until we become (clueless) adults. 🤔

We don’t appreciate our beds and bathrooms until we travel (and are blessed with portable toilets). 🛏 🚽

We don’t dream (all day) about taking naps until they’re no longer mandatory. 👶 💤

And I don’t start getting things done until I should sleep. 😴

Thanks! Yes, we always want what we don’t have and don’t appreciate the little things until they’re gone. I guess that’s part of life.

Yeah, its human nature to crave for things after its all gone.Actually when things or people are no longer around us,it is then we realize our mistake of taking them for granted.

Yep, we want what we don’t have, and we don’t realize what we have until they’re gone. Sad but true.
