Why must you lie to us?

Please don’t shatter our trust.

We know what you’ve done.

This is not what we want.

 

Open up and let it out.

Stop hiding behind the dark clouds.

No use living life so deceptively

or yelling so defensively.

 

There must be a way to mend it.

This is not the way we need to end it.

Can you please stop all your pretending

and make this a fairy tale with a happy ending?
